"Setting up the event was a headache"
I tried using livestream.com for our event, i was over it quickly. The scheduling was confusing, support took forever to get back to us, and the stream settings kept changing when I just needed things to work. I don’t have the patience to babysit a platform during an event, so I wouldn’t use it again...

"Live stream kept freezing"
I tried watching a live event, but the stream kept cutting out every few minutes. Refreshing helped a little, but not enough. It’s really frustrating when you pay for something and end up missing parts of it, and I’m sure other customers would feel the same way.

"Decent stream, but the blur stands out"
It works fine most of the time, and I don’t really pay much attention to all the extra stuff as long as the video plays. But whenever the picture gets blurry or starts buffering, that’s pretty much all I notice. It’s not awful, but the video quality is just kind of average

"Way too much lag for a live stream"
I tried watching an event on livestream.com, and the delay was just too much. Like, way too much. People in the chat were already reacting to stuff before I even saw it happen on my screen.

It felt like I was always about 30 seconds behind, maybe even more at times. I refreshed a few times, but it didn’t really change anything, and my internet was working fine everywhere else.

It’s frustrating when something is supposed to be live but doesn’t really feel live. I probably wouldn’t use it again for anything important, definitely not if I care about seeing things as they happen...

"Setting up multiple cameras was honestly frustrating"
I was really hoping the multi-camera setup would be smooth, but it ended up being a hassle. Switching between cameras kept lagging, which got annoying fast, and when I reached out to support, they barely helped at all. Frustrating experience overall

"Support fixed it, but the waiting was annoying"
I had an issue with my stream and reached out to support. They did get back to me fairly quickly, but I was still frustrated sitting there waiting and not knowing what was going on. It took one extra message to get it sorted, but in the end they fixed it and everything worked fine after that

"The docs actually made things easy"
I was surprised how helpful the docs were. The tutorials were easy to follow, and I liked the little step-by-step details, even down to where certain buttons or settings were mentioned. It made the whole thing feel much less confusing.

"Account setup was a little confusing"
Managing my account was a bit confusing at first. I’m not totally sure if I missed something or if the process just isn’t super clear, but I did eventually get it to work. Overall, it was okay, just not the smoothest experience.

I tried adjusting the privacy settings, but they just left me feeling unsure and a little frustrated. When something involves my personal info, I want to feel confident about what I’m turning on or off, and these controls didn’t give me that feeling.

To be fair, it did load at first, but I couldn’t really watch anything because the stream kept freezing and buffering all night. Frustrating experience.

"Solid access controls, just a little digging needed :)"
I like how easy it is to limit who can view things, which is super handy! The only small hiccup was that some of the settings took a bit of searching to find :)

"Works fine, but the encoder setup was kind of a pain"
Livestream has been okay overall. The main hassle was getting my encoder set up, it took longer than I thought it would. Some of the settings matched right away, but a few others needed trial and error, and the help docs felt a little out of date... like they almost got me there, but not quite. Once I finally got it connected, the stream was stable enough and did what I needed. Not bad, just wish the compatibility side was a bit smoother

"Wish I hadn’t trusted it for my streams"
I tried using this for a few streams, and I regret it. It kept freezing or cutting out right when I needed it to work, and the chat lag made it look like my stream had basically died. Maybe other people have better luck with it, but for me it just wasn’t reliable enough.

I canceled without much trouble, and support actually handled it quickly. The confusing part was that I still got charged once, so I wasn’t really sure what happened there. Thankfully they fixed the cancellation fast, but the billing situation left me a little unsure at first.

"Works great when it’s having a good day"
I’ve used the Livestream app a handful of times for school events and church streams, it’s been solid for me most days. When I’m just trying to relax and watch without any fuss, it usually loads quickly on my phone and the video stays nice and clear, even when my Wi-Fi is acting a little moody.

The only reason I’d keep it at 4 stars is that it sometimes freezes if I hop over to another app and then come back. It’s not a huge deal since restarting the app usually fixes it, but when I’m already a little impatient, it definitely gets on my nerves.

The analytics are decent, but I kind of regret expecting more from them. The reports feel basic, and sometimes they take a while to load. It’s fine if I just want to check viewer numbers quickly, but for anything more detailed, it leaves me wishing I had a better option.

"Getting the integrations set up was frustrating"
I tried hooking Livestream up with our website and email tools, it was kind of a hassle. Some of the embeds worked fine, others just didn’t, and the whole setup ended up taking way longer than I expected. Support was okay, but yeah, they didn’t really help much beyond the basics...

I was already annoyed from waiting in the queue for so long, and then the pricing still wasn’t very clear to me. It felt like there were extra fees that only showed up later, which was frustrating

"Sharing to social was kind of a hassle"
I tried using livestream.com to share a stream to a few social pages, it was frustrating. The links didn’t preview the way I expected, and a couple times the share button just seemed to do nothing. I kept refreshing and trying again, thinking maybe it was something on my end, but I’m not really sure. It might’ve been a bug, or maybe I had something set up wrong, but either way it made the whole process feel way harder than it needed to be. I probably wouldn’t use it again for sharing.
